About Hello Newcomer

 At Hello Newcomer, our story began with a passion for helping newcomers to succeed in their life. We saw a need for personalized, results-driven settle down services, and set out to create an organization that would meet that need. Today, we continue to uphold that same passion and commitment to excellence. 

We arrived to Canada in 2018, and by then, we faced the same problems every immigrant face when they arrive to a new country.

It was a very hard work to find a house, job, transportation, school and so on, but we tried our best everyday to adapt to a country that opened the doors for us.

In 2019, and after being officially accepted as a refugees, we started to make a new network of Canadians citizens, who started to teach us about their culture and we understood that, it is a hard journey for the newcomers. 

After the COVID pandemic in 2020, we start to realize that there was a need for people, of somebody who extend their hand to the newcomers in Canada, and that was the moment that we started to think about "Hello newcomer".

"Hello Newcomer" born  as a non-for-profit organization, located in the capital Ottawa, that is ready to help all the newcomers to settle down in a country where the language barrier, the weather and the day to day activities make harder a new beginning.

Our organization is also providing free activities to help you to understand a little bit more about the Canadian Culture and traditions, because once you become a newcomer, is important to understand that adapting to the new society, is the key to open all the doors around your new home.

We are so happy to welcome all the new immigrant and so proud to be a hand for you to support you and your family in this new life!
